Missons
At CenterPointe Christian Church, we believe in the Great Commission and we strive to live out God's commands of loving others and reaching the lost with the Gospel. We have four core values and five strategic focus areas that shape our Missions Ministry.
CORE VALUES:
Global and Local Impact: We desire to serve people locally in our community, within the United States, and worldwide.
Intentionally Holistic: We strive to meet the individual's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while connecting them to Jesus.
Collaborative Engagement: Our goal is to create an environment that encourages serving others as a unified community, both inside and outside of CenterPointe.
Sacrificial Generosity: We encourage a culture of radical giving that includes our time, money, and talents and exceeds what is comfortable or expected.
STRATEGIC FOCUS AREAS:
Church Planting: As a church planted by a church planting organization, we recognize the crucial role of church plants in spreading God's message. We desire to be a group of people actively involved in planting other churches both locally and globally. We currently support Generations Church and Ted and Jennifer Bertleson.
Orphan Care: God's heart for the vulnerable, especially for the orphan is clear throughout scripture. We desire to come alongside organizations working hard to provide care for orphans through adoption, foster care, child sponsorship, and mentorship. We currently partner with Orphan Care Alliance in our efforts to care for orphans.
Human Trafficking: There are more individuals in slavery today than at any other point in human history, and God's heart is breaking for these individuals. We desire to be intentional about praying over this crisis, creating awareness, and actively taking steps to combat slavery in our world today. We currently support Rapha International and Natalie’s Sisters.
Unreached People Groups: Over 7,000 groups of people are currently unreached. We know that God's desire is for every person in our world to have a personal relationship with Him. We desire to lift up these people groups in prayer and work with individuals and ministries devoted to reaching them. Ted and Jennifer Bertleson are helping spread the Gospel to unreached people groups in Ethiopia. Check out their Summer 2023 newletter.
A note from Luke Bolton: I am excited to embark on a 10-month apprenticeship at EnterMission, where I will learn valuable skills and gain hands-on experience. This program allows me to work alongside other mission-minded leaders, learn from their expertise, and expand my knowledge of developing young people. This apprenticeship provides a solid foundation for my mission work. I look forward to this exciting opportunity and am committed to maximizing it. If you would like to support me, please give here. You can learn more about my role at EnterMission here.
Urban Ministry: God has a deep concern for those living in poverty and we seek for our hearts to be aligned with His. We desire to come alongside people, develop relationships, listen, and meet needs as we can. We partner with Natalie’s Sisters and have a school backpack ministry that provides food to children.
