Generosity Feeds Lexington
Meal Creation Event
Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
It's Time to Change the Math on Hunger. Let It Start with You!
For the sixth year, CenterPointe is partnering with Generosity Feeds to impact our community by helping feed kids in Lexington. Right now, *57% of students in Fayette County struggle with hunger. That number is 7% higher than in 2022!
How Can You Make a Difference?
Volunteer for 2 Hours
Did you know that you can easily pack 15,000 meals in two hours? Our rockstar volunteers have done that and more every year for six years. Give us two hours of your time on Saturday, November 4 and you'll be counted among these incredible volunteers. Invite your friends, family, church, teammates, sorority, fraternity, coworkers, or anyone who likes to have a great time and wants to help kids in Fayette County.
6 or more volunteers register here.
Donate Meals - Be A Hunger Hero
Believe it or not, there is something you can buy for $1.00! Every meal we pack during the Generosity Feeds Meal Creation Event is $1.00, so when we say every dollar counts, we mean it. If you can't donate your time, please consider donating meals. Our goal is to pack 15k meals, which takes $15,000. Once we reach our goal, any additional funds will be applied to our backpack program to help feed 60+ kids weekly at Sandersville and Rise STEM Academy. The meals packed during this event are distributed throughout Fayette County's school system, backpack programs, and God's Pantry.
